Sprucing up Camp Discovery in Gainesboro, Tennessee

In April 2011, employees with East Tennessee Natural Gas  participated in Spectra Energy's "Helping Hands in Action" program by making numerous improvements at Camp Discovery, such as sprucing up some benches. Camp Discovery provides therapists and recreational activities for individuals with disabilities.

Bowling for Junior Achievement

In April 2011, we also participated in the 2011 Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon, benefiting the Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. Junior Achievement is an organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Sprucing Up Classrooms

In March 2011, a group of volunteers from Egan built and installed cabinets in three classrooms at Evangeline Elementary School in Louisiana. The principal said, "We are so thrilled to have been chosen for the project. Each time the volunteers were here to visit, they were so generous and eager to help. It is a true blessing to be considered their neighbor."
