Texas Eastern’s Marcellus to Market Project will provide both producer and market shippers with the opportunity to obtain new incremental firm transportation service from liquid supply points in the Appalachian region to an array of liquid market points in the Northeast United States.
Texas Eastern is uniquely positioned to access abundant supplies of clean-burning, domestic natural gas and move them to markets where demand is high. Access to two of the fastest growing shale basins are available; Northeast and Southwest Pennsylvania.
The facilities required for the Marcellus to Market Project are expected to be located primarily within Texas Eastern's current footprint, minimizing impacts to landowners, communities and the environment.
