Spectra Energy Partners LP is a growth-oriented, Delaware master limited partnership formed by Spectra Energy Corp, headquartered in Houston, Texas, to own and operate natural gas transportation and storage assets.

Spectra Energy, which is comprised of the former natural gas businesses of Duke Energy Corporation, became a stand-alone publicly traded company in January 2007. Spectra Energy, a Fortune 500 company, is one of the largest operators of natural gas pipelines and storage facilities in North America.
