The 786-mile Express Pipeline transports up to 280,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil from Hardisty, Alberta, to Casper, Wyoming.
The Express pipeline brings a variety of light, medium and heavy crude oil from Western Canada to refiners in the U.S. Rocky Mountain states, and is accompanied by multiple storage tanks (2.7 MMBbls total capacity) that provide flexibility on shipment timing and product mix.
Flow through the pipeline is boosted by 19 pump stations with 156,000 horsepower.
